For each design some or all of the following documents will be created, depending on your requirements.

High Level Design
The high level design document will provide an overview of your specific solution. It will detail your requirements from a business and technical perspective. Provide an overview of the existing infrastructure and depict how the new solution will integrate into your network. This document serves as acceptance criteria for the project being successfully signed off.
Low Level Design
This is a technical document describing the components and specifications required to achieve a solution addressing your specific business and technical requirements.
This document identifies implementation roles and requirements. It provides an overview of the implementation stages required by the design. It also documents any change management procedures and captures requirements required to proceed with the installation.
This document provides detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to install and configure the products specified in the low level design document.
Validation test plan
This document provides an overview of the procedures to the executed post installation to verify whether or not the infrastructure is installed correctly. It can also be used at any point subsequent to the installation to verify whether or not the infrastructure continues to function correctly.
This document provides detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to perform common operational tasks and troubleshooting.
